Previously.

Newcastle 2015 to 2016. I contracted as an interaction designer on the Tax credits service for HMRC.

London 2013 to 2015. I was part of the digital team at the Money Advice Service. Building digital products to help people manage their money. And ultimately encouraging behaviour change. I completed a short contract for +rehabstudio.

Manchester 2005 to 2013. My agency experience includes time at Building Blocks and Reading Room. I helped deliver projects for BT, Yara, RICOH, Butlins and the Economic & Social Research Council.

Bournemouth 2003 to 2005. I freelanced for Red Balloon the agency affiliated with the Bournemouth University Media School. I helped deliver projects for Dorset Council and the British Council. And contributed to the redesign of both the Red Balloon and Bournemouth Media School websites.

Dublin 2000 to 2003. I briefly worked at a email marketing company. Before spending two years at Microsoft EOC. My final year in Ireland was spent providing web design support to startups at Dublin City University.

Sheffield 1998 to 2000. I founded a company with a friend from university and started taking on web projects. We experimented with delivering both digital and physical products. We built a web based community for seasonal workers in Ibiza.

I started out as a Frontend Developer. Later making the transition to User Experience. I still occasionally write code as part of my job as a User Experience Designer.
