What I do
I work on the web, building the web – need an intro. I’m a User Experience – often shortened to UX – Consultant working at Building Blocks in Manchester. I explain to my dad (he’s impressed that the word consultant is part of my job title) that I get paid to remind our customers that real people will be using their websites. I do this by writing documents, designing wireframes and prototypes of websites.
Availability
I’m available to work on small web projects.
Experience
I’ve been involved with web for over 12 years. I built a community-based site for UK seasonal workers in Ibiza. I worked at Microsoft EOC and for a start-up at Dublin City University. I’ve got an MA from Bournemouth Media School. I’ve free-lanced on projects for Dorset Council, Bournemouth Media School and the British Council. I’ve over 7 years agency experience at Reading Room Manchester and Building Blocks.
Creative
To scratch my creative itch I shoot and edit Video – mostly on my iPhone, but don’t hold that against me.
